Van De Beek can play the CM role, there seems to be a consensus that he’s in the mould of Bruno, and he’s not. VDB and Pogba can play the midfield roles with Bruno in front. Sancho will play FR, Rashford FL and Martial striker. Greenwood needs benched until he takes Rashford or Martial’s spot permanently, that could be a couple of years or a couple of weeks.

Do you genuinely think we're signing Sancho?

I don't.

Be brilliant if we just announced the signing one morning though, for all the stick Woodward gets.

Would shut a good few mouths.

be great seeing VDB in a midfield battle......
 
Also, of we do go with a 3 3 in front of a back four with vdb central and Pogba left, Fernandes right, we definitely need a new centre half with pace and presence behind them.

Maguire and Lindelof wouldn't cut it.

Absolutely.

Woodward deserves stick regardless, he’s a ****ing ****.
 
Well yeah, but it would still be good if we just announced the signings matter of factly without all the bollocks preceding it.

Pretty much like the VDB (probable) signing came out of the blue.

There’s a rumour that the Glazers have sanctioned 4 big signings like. I think the Sancho one is a case of Dortmund being left to sweat, like Leicester were, by an inept Woodward who will go back with his tail between his legs and pay the full price and put OGS at a disadvantage as we’re a month into the season.
