Ludicrous comment IMO.

We needed strengthening at left back, centre half (please don’t say Pratley like you have on Twitter) and up front. The returning players that we are now relying on are injury prone. Smith is (hopefully) just a replacement for Conor Gallagher.

ESI have spent less than £500,000 in this crucial transfer window. They have gambled with the club’s Championship status as a result.

Left back, Doughty can play attacking LB as he did very successfully at QPR... plus Matt Smith can also cover at left back.
Centre Back, Pratley is a very capable cover at CB especially in a back 3
We only needed cover up front if Taylor left... I don't know if you noticed but he didn't leave.

Yes, ESI have gambled but Bow is said to be happy so that's good enough for me.

Bowyer is surely p***** off as he has had the same transfer windows with Dushitelet.

With H.E in town, Bowyer can hardly say different.

You are talking about square pegs in round holes.

It’s a gamble.

I’ll be one of the 7,000 at the Valley in August if we are relegated. Be interesting to see how many of the kids defending ESI last night fancy Accrington.

Perhaps we can discuss it at the Valley today.... will you be bringing @Beware of the Virus for this crunch game?

He's not made a good start.

Football supporters do not want to know who the ownership are. Just shut the f*** up and run the club well.
Absolutely. What we want to see is Charlton sticking the ball in the onion bag. There is only a tiny minority who want to ingratiate themselves with the owners. I wonder how Bowyer feels about Southall's social media antics?

Bowyer and others cannot be impressed.
