I like David Davis, he is a decent player. We needed a new striker. But with Lyle Taylor, Andre Green, Macaully Bonne, Tomer Hamed and Josh Davison we should have enough.

Ludicrous comment IMO. We needed strengthening at left back, centre half (please don’t say Pratley like you have on Twitter) and up front. The returning players that we are now relying on are injury prone. Smith is (hopefully) just a replacement for Conor Gallagher. ESI have spent less than £500,000 in this crucial transfer window. They have gambled with the club’s Championship status as a result.
ESi must start planning for the summer NOW. Bowyer has to decide which of the youngsters will make it, and make sure they get contracts which will keep the wolves from the door. Doughty first.
