Three weeks since Wembley now , and 30% of our way through pre season. Bowyer still not signed up to a contract - despite the spin being fed to Rich Cawley - and not a single new player signed.

This summer is going to be a repeat of the previous 4 summers under Duchatelet- a last min influx of loans & freebies. Whilst it’s comforting that we still have good judges (for now) in Bowyer & Steve Gallen, we won’t get away with this last min panic now we are playing in a much better league.

We really need to start signing players this week.

I don't know how true it is but Bauer is being offered £5000 a week to stay. The new freebies that they are trying to bring in are being offered £2500 a week. Not a big wage in the Championship.

I read a while back that Blackburn have offered Bauer £12,000 a week.

We are not going to attract players in the Championship on the sort of money you mention.

Pre-Season training starts in a fortnight. At this rate they won't even be able to stage 5-a-side games.

The jungle drums are now beating very loudly that Joe Aribo will sign for Rangers this week.

Please don’t let anyone say “isn’t it good we have Forster-Caskey fit again to replace him” <doh>

Isn't it good that we will have a fit again Jake Forster-Caskey to replace him <ok> or even Darren Pratley?
