Mercedes are out driving it but the sky dufus standing with ocon was saying they were told to NOT SHOW THE REAR END OF THE CAR.... whats that all about? their own viedo of the day shows a little of it.

The ferrari bods seem to be saying they've squeeeeeeezed the life out of the car to slim down profile so stand by for overheating.

That's either very very clever or they can't get much downforce from the rear so they are balancing it by having a low downforce front wing and gaining directing air around the tyre?
Plus they seem to have 3 holes in the nose, that's most of the frontal area of the nose being used to direct air elsewhere!
It's the first car we have seem that appears to be doing something different. I do hope they have come up with a concept that gives them an advantage and it's not just a front wing concept but a whole car.
I do hope we get some different ideas this year, but I am a bit surprised it's from Alfa/Sauber. I was expecting another Hass.
Then again Ferrari is revealing its 2019 car tomorrow, maybe that will be similar!!!!

Pretty sure I read there was , when I went to the Williams HQ last year I think it was mentioned . Is it Lighter ?

It is lighter but I think the main thing is that it creates slight disruption of the air flow in a similar way to the dimples on a golf ball. So in theory the car has less drag with matt paint.

Like some of the new colour schemes, shame the Red Bull is a temp job, but everyone ****ing knows there will be minimal change to the running order.

Mercedes will romp home with it this year, guaranteed. I think they will win by even more points because the bullshit Ferrari were getting away with in respect to their power unit will be obliterated by the supposed Merc upgrade.

Paddy Lowe has one hell of a job on his hands.

Hopefully it’s just a bit of mileage they lose but they could be chasing their tail for the opening flyaway races here if they aren’t careful.
