I'm getting some strange Alli vibes from Edwards at the moment, unfortunately.
Everything that I read seems to point to attitude problems and a lack of application, but he's still scoring and picking up assists consistently.

Like most of us on here, I'm reliant on the opinions of others as to how well he and the other youngsters are doing.
Always happy to hear from anyone who's there to see it in person. <ok>
IMO that's because he is undoubtedly a talent.. But like you said, it has to be used wisely

That's what I meant about the Alli vibes. He's not playing particularly well and looks off the pace, but he's still creating chances and scoring goals.
7 goals in 21 games for a 21-year-old midfielder would be very impressive, if it was someone else.
We all know that he's performing well below what he's capable of though, unfortunately.

I assume that the same applies to Edwards, largely going by things that I've read, plus the U19 CL games.
He's not consistent, but he has moments when he just annihilates everyone else on the pitch.
Strolls past a whole group of defenders and nonchalantly places it past the keeper, like he's pissing about in a training match.
Doesn't put in enough work or take instructions well enough to get into the first team, though. A real shame, right now.

Exactly what poch said he hasn't come on as we all thought he would maybe the kid has an attitude problem I don't know but poch and his team will know doubt bring him down to earth and make him a better player because he has the talent to go to the top of the game IF HE WANTS TO

I'm sure their penalties to make it 3-2 and 4-3 were perfectly legitimate...

Funnily enough, here's a few quotes from Spurs Odyssey's report on the game...

On the first penalty
Chelsea won a soft penalty when Eyoma was adjudged to have pushed Brown over in the area

On the second penalty
As Reynolds was in the act of kicking clear Lamptey threw himself in the way. He did this a couple of times more but on this occasion the referee gave the penalty

On the Chavs' tactics in general
Griffiths was caught late from behind by Gallagher and had to go off when he did not recover

Rodel Richards (x3), Paris Maghoma and Phoenix Patterson got our FA Youth Cup campaign off to a good start

...yes, we have a player in the academy by the name of Phoenix Patterson
Richards is having a good time of it, at the moment. Two hat-tricks in the last few games. Got a few minutes and a goal against APOEL U19, too.
A young striker who was previously on Arsenal's books. Hmm...

More than a resistance.
Another defeat for our youngsters who stay rooted to the foot of the table.

Yep. Something's definitely not right with the U23 team.
I know results aren't the most important thing at that level, but they've been very poor.
I suspect that the overall age of the side is probably a bit young, but how much are they learning by getting beaten all the time?

As for Edwards, the loan suggestions are already under way.
