The price is, but the player definitely isn't.

Would fit in like a glove here and would allow Riyad to join Vardy down the middle with BRady and Albrighton on the wings... If we got Slimani in then crosses would be a dream for him.

Agree and he's got bags of ability. Very under rated player. Easily up to playing for a side around your current level.
 
Watford have turned down a enormous bid of £38.3m from Shanghai SIPG for Odion Ighalo.
That's pretty nuts. It's interesting though that they turned it down, as wealth among the premier league and new markets goes up, the same pool of talented players remains. I guess from watford's perspective even though that's a huge fee, they must feel getting an equal player premier league ready and attracting them to the club with equivalent wages and a worthwhile profit isn't a sure bet.

Based on the bids received so far this summer, Watford have a £68m strike force.
 
QPR are about to confirm the £1.3m signing of Brentford left-back Jake Bidwell.

Due to a sell-on clause, Everton will receive 50% of the fee.

Hardly seems worth their while selling.
