He's not good enough for Middlesbrough, he's not good enough for us.

I don't think you can look at it like that. Middlesbrough have a lot of strikers and we don't.He's not good enough for Middlesbrough, he's not good enough for us.
Markus Henriksen is a midfielder- not a forward. So why would Abel staying have any impact whatsoever on whether we sign Henriksen or not? Completely different positions.
No we bloody shouldn't.... !!!...besides I think he's off to Norwich and if he;s not good enough for Boro, he certainly isn't good enough for us..Of course we should!
So we aren't signing an attacking midfielder because Abel is staying, so does that mean we aren't signing another striker aswell?
Or it's a money thing as we aren't getting the £20 million for Abel it's one player or another so we are sacrificing the Henricksen deal for a striker
He could have been the player we bought with the extra cash, having spent ten of it on the actual replacement...
No extra cash now, so perhaps one is abandoned.
so we should base our decisions on other club's decisions? No we bloody shouldn't.... !!!...besides I think he's off to Norwich and if he;s not good enough for Boro, he certainly isn't good enough for us..
Another rumour
Yes it's worrying, I know we've signed mason but from what I've read on here Henricksens the type of player we've needed for......well as long as I can rememberI dunno. I'm confused that people are suggesting a striker and a midfielder are the same position.
False 10I dunno. I'm confused that people are suggesting a striker and a midfielder are the same position.
Mcmanaman as makeweight!!! Some people have strange sense of humoursAnother rumour
when hasn't strikers been our weakness?
False 10

Clubs sources have told The Yorkshire Post that two further deals are at an advanced stage with talks on-going with another couple of targets. AZ Alkmaar forward Markus Henrikson, however, is understood to no longer be a priority due to Abel Hernandez being set to stay at the KCOM Stadium despite Aston Villa’s very public courting of the Uruguay international in recent weeks.
