He's hardly played for them. It looks like he might have been collateral damage form Martinez's bad season. The video of his game against Leicester on Twitter is a shocker...but I've seen worse (Vardy on the weekend). £13.5M and player of the year in the Russian League in 2015....can't be all bad. Get him in on loan for the season with an agreed fee (a low one) at the end and see what happens....

we need someone to replace Diame in my book. We have two strikers who can't really do anything else. If we get a striker I'd get a tall strong target man to support.

Otherwise we could do with an attacking central midfielder or box to box.

and defenders...

Personally think a loan spot would be wisely used on a CB, if purse strings are to be tight, once Dawson, Maguire and Bruce are back we've enough there at CB, I still think whatever money we can cobble together needs to be spent on attack minded players

Long term he isn't the answer, though. I suspect by the time he's fit again he'll be so far down the pecking order he wouldn't be able to read 'suck it Alex' if it was written on the bottom of Maguire's boots.
