Anyone got a wish list? Brady & chessy back! Crouchy & walton! Marshall! Kanu! Players who've still got a bit of fire in their bellies?

Hull City boss dealt transfer blow

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has been dealt a blow with the Tigers board limiting him to free transfers only, the Sun reports (Friday edition, page 54).

It is claimed the newly-promoted side do not want to fork out for fee-paying transfers amid uncertainty over a proposed takeover at the KC Stadium.

The news comes a day after centre-back Michael Dawson became the seventh Hull star to be sidelined through injury, leaving Bruce, who is yet to make any new signings, with a player shortage ahead of their season opener at home to Premier League champions Leicester City.

Probably bollocks, but nothing would surprise me now.

Any other club and you'd think "surely not". For some reason I could see this happening at ours!

If that was the case, then continuing takeover discussions would have had zero impact.

I ****ing hate the Allams. A pair of outright Cockwombles.

So first we have Brucie meeting with the Allams on Monday and handing them his wish list, with the parting shot it`s down to the chairman now, and then we have a speculative piece suggesting that we are not going to spend any money on transfers. Bruce`s decision to stay was based apparently on being given certain assurances, I have to say I agree OLM I think this latest red top `exclusive` is complete bollox tbh, doesn`t add up with what has gone before, however with these two at the helm ya never know.

i remember walking down wembley way, the sun blazing down, another season in the premiership to look forward to, could it get much better? who would we sign? the close season full of rumour and hope. fast forward six weeks and the excitement has gone. what is it with this club? sort it out before its way too late.

Unfortunately Cheshire... I fear that time has come and gone...

Clearly bollocks.

I would leave if I was Bruce. At least he can leave with dignity, he's only an employee and owes the club nothing. We on the other hand are fans and we're lumbered.

So come september we could:
have no manager
signed no decent players
be bottom of the league
Pl supporters cancelled their DD
Gates of 14-15000

I can see the Americans jumping at the chance to buy us

I would like to see a staff and player revolt!

Bruce, Phelan, Robbo, Hudd, Livermore basically any player withna release clause and say we either see some signings in next week or we are off.

Even our greedy owners can see how much the club value will drop and how they would never recoup their money. Egos would also be hit knowing each and eveyone who left would be in media explain ing why they left due to inept owners

Think you're being massively optimistic, no way we'd have 14k in that situation.
