the definition of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different outcome.
kinda like expecting Hull City to achieve a different result from relegation with an even ****ter team than what we had, no Chester... no Rosenior...
Ergo SB is insane.

Insanity is possibly the only topic on which you can speak with any authority. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

All these transfers are just mind blowing. One hundred and forty seven pages of mouth watering prospects to ponder over. How many incoming is it now? Goalkeeper Will Mannone - how did we prise him back from Sunderland? And the rest of the new faces - wow- I tell ya - heady days indeed. We will have an entirely different squad to last year at this rate (of injuries!!). Manager openly trying to jump ship too - just brilliant. - stability is a by-word for Hull City (that's Hull Tigers to you, our massive global fan base who prefer snappy impact-laden shorter titles).

I might be wrong but we haven't got Mannone from Sunderland we got an 18 year old with a similar name

Some website has us competing with others for a season loan of Tom Lawrence at Leicester,
22 and with a 1 in 10 ratio at championship level and below.

Umar Aminu, who we've apparently been chasing all window, netted a hat-trick for Osmanlispor (nothing to do with the Pointless co-host) in the Europa League tonight. Didn't realise he's only 21, could be an astute acquisition if we hurry up and get it sorted.

That could be said about any decent player, lets all be realistic, we, Hull City, aren't going to go after hardly any of the players that would be good in the real world, especially with the situation as it is.
If we deleted every post saying, "we should be all over this one," or similar, then there'd be about 25 posts, 50 pages of arguments & 10 posts wrongly stating we've signed someone, or who Burnley are supposedly signing, but that might come under the, "we should be all over this one," or similar section!

147 pages of nothing, cos nowt has been announced by the club......... so really, its all speculation.

He was only there on loan anyway. There was some confusion however, Fiorentina said last season that it was always planned he would come back but Besiktas said they had an agreement to buy him for 1 euro. Anyway, after this summer la Viola's attitude with definitely be to either give him another go or cash in for a considerable sum.
11 million was the last price quote that I saw in an article.

I may have missed it...there's so much speculation on here (on quite a few related threads too), but has there been any formal statement from either the Grieve led consortium or the present owners of Hull City that this deal is actually dead ?
