Liam Rosenior at Brighton is a very good full back and great on both sides. He'd be a good addition I reckon and not very expensive.
It seems the deal for Will Mannion is happening and will be announced shortly, looks like it's a Pennock signing.
I misread this as Wilf Mannion, wonder if he is any relation at all?! One of the few legendary players ever to play for Hull City https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilf_Mannion
Will Grigg? Nah, he only scored 25 goals for Wigan and 20 for MK Dons. We need some like Crouch or Paddy Madden...
I'm pretty sure that we will get offers for our players in the weeks ahead... and our full backs are hot property.. thats backs plural.
What? Paddy Madden that scored 23 goals in the same league as Grigg in a worse team and playing approximately half his games total on the wing - great logic.
I would like to see Samuelsen come in from West Ham, whether on a loan or buy outright. Obviously not sure if WH will let him go.
19yr old who scored one in 17 appearances on loan for Peterborough ?, while he may be one for the future I think we need to have someone who can hit the ground running, not saying this lad wouldn`t do well but can we really take a huge gamble on an unproven talent ?
People are throwing out names from their wish lists, why don't you involve yourself in the discussion, or not read the thread? All confirmed transfers will be listed in the opening post.
If we want youth we could have bought Bobby Wood (23) who was just sold to Hamburg for 2.4 million pounds and scored 17 in 31 last season. If it didnt work out we could have sold him for a profit to any US team. Yedlin is 22 and is going to cost 2 mill. He would be a great back up RB also we could sell him for a profit. Pulisic has 2 in 9 for Borussia Dortmund last season and just turned 17 years old. He is the youngest person ever to score 2 goals in a season in the Bundesliga. I got no idea how much he would cost as he is supposed to get a lot of games for them this coming season but as he is only 17 it couldnt be that much and we could probably sell him for a profit as well. I mean there are risks (1 in 17 is a big risk) and then there are risks that if they dont pan out you can still make a profit.
Yedlin would be looking for regular game time which is why he'd leave spurs, not sure we'd be able to sell him at a profit if he barely played. Pulisic would be in high demand and there's no way he'd want to leave Dortmund for us.
RB isnt his only position of course. It would be an easy profit. Unless we think that Bradley is really worth 7 million pounds and 87,000 pounds a week? US teams will buy US internationals for silly prices and use them as DP players just like they did for Altidore as well.
