There are some great memories in the 2nd video.....

I would also ask Tramore - Why do we need a new kit design every season? I know the answer is for marketing & sales reasons. It certainly isn't because the supporters demand to buy a new strip!

I agree terry, it's just a money making ploy.....should be something to stop this exploitation, whats wrong with having a kit for 2 seasons?

Just going to throw this out there......

Our wonderful 75/76 season.....the team photo pre season had the players in an adidas strip with white sleves, yet we never played in it that season. We started against Liverpool in a kit that had a white neck and 4 or 5 thick blue hoops. Midway through we changed to a kit with a blue neck and 7 or 8 blue hoops....did anyone complain or even notice....off course not because the football we played was all we cared about........

If we play some wonderful football this season will it really matter what kit we are wearing?

Good point Tramore, I guess if anyone suffers from Obsessive compulsive disorder then it really does matter a lot...<whistle>

Sorry about the OCD remark, if your one of the unfortunate sufferers of this condition then I have to ask this question.. Are you sure that you locked your front door on the way out earlier and is that tap still running?

The crux of this is the ASSUMED bit. Just because everyone assumes, does not make the club liars or misleading the fans when the assumption is wrong. Anyway, it doesn't matter. No big deal.
Start from the assumption that all the statements I quoted are true. Observe the contradictions. Conclude that it is not possible for all statements to be true. Hence we are being lied to.

I was kind of taking the p*ss out of myself in that one dude. I only get it with locking doors. I'm not kidding when I say my front door gets locked and I now have this ritual of walking away and going back to check it's locked.

Sad I know but hey it's me were talking about here!:azn:

Anyway being serious for a mo (very hard for me) I don't mind the new kit hoops or not, much better than last years design in my own opinion:emoticon-0148-yes:

Sorry Sax I'm slightly put off by the 11 minutes duration of your YouTube clip and haven't watched it, what are you trying to achieve by making a noise about the kit and/or lies?

Think it's just something to whine about in all honesty. No matches to moan about at the moment, so this will give some their fix until the season starts again. Then all this lies/hoops cobblers will fade into insignificance .

So what? Anyone would think it's the wife lying to you about some clandestine affair!

Say out loud to yourself 'ive locked the door' as you do it, it makes a more fixed memory for you yo recall and you won't go back to check!

There are no pre-orders so fans will have to go in person or online after that time.
The club is still in the process of finalising its sponsor for its away kit.

Can someone tweet this to Ian Taylor and ask him what has he got to say for himself?
