Doire
And put the words Adem Ljajic in it.....

A mentalist but apparently our scout Mr Ray Dar is on him.

Can't see it happening ...

was he not due to go to Man U a few seasons back for £10m?

Damaged goods. The furtherance of a moneyball approach by the hupes.... I can't see it happening but who knows.

I just read a comedy article on a Southampton site looking for Forster, Hooper and Wanyama for figures of 4, 8 and 8. More inaccuracies than a thing with 8 inaccuracies.

Saw that Southampton story yesterday and had a chuckle.

Wanyama alone is worth most of that figure.

Any truth in the rumour?

Id be very surprised if Lenny could pull that off, that is the type of quality we should be looking at though with Champs League guaranteed for at least 10 years.

Doubt it...

£8million to Fiorentina and linked with man u a few seasons back for £10million.

Thread already on this ... merged

Kevin Doyle getting touted again.... Doesn't really fit the MoneyballTimmyball approach.

**** new signings, we have a bunch of young players who need to be given a chance to develop. If they are an exceptional talent that can be picked up for a song then great but other than that no.

We have a decent squad and plenty of potential in the development squad, we have a start promoting players from it or what's the ****ing point!

I want to get to a point when a minimum of 50% of our squad is developed in house.

Looks like we have missed out on Neymar who is set to join Barca. A damn shame. He could have scored for fun up here.

Hooper's got one year on his contract (as you know) so £8m is hardly 'comedy,' and if you were in the Premier League perhaps you could command over £16m for Wanyama, but outside the major European leagues only Belgium, Holland & Portugal can currently command that type of price for players.

Hooper will be sold for £4million...

Wanyama wil be sold for £9million to £12 million ... He has more potential than McGeady who was sold for £9.5million
