Nah, I would miss the enjoyment of seeing an intricately slotted ball between two defenders being met by a well timed run beating the offside trap! Getting rid of the offside rule would just spread the play, defenders would have to sit deep and players would just have more time on the ball, the game would slow down. Players of the likes of James McClean would have a field day, their stock would go up. A player with little pace but excellent vision and passing would be made redundant, so its a no from me.

<laugh>.you're given this to much thought.

Maybe at 35 Zlatan should have looked for a gentler pasture in which he could transition into retirement. He has been playing professional football in top divisions since 1999. That's a lot of mileage.

That's Niall Quinn... passing judgement on one of the best strikers in the world. He really is a clueless, useless, drunken idiot. The sooner he is sacked by Sky the better for planet Earth.

Maybe not the best board to write that on, but the guy is a ****ing gimp of the highest order.

Don't agree at all with any of the personal comments on Quinn but he's wrong about Ibra. Just because he doesn't score for a few games doesn't mean he's too old, it's nonsense.

I wouldn't expect any of you lot to agree.

He's a hero for some of you lot, Best was a drunken idiot too, who I'd blindly defend... although that's where the similarities stop.

Wouldnt agree or disagree personally. I have no loyalty towards him! Did at the time....hes gone now.

I've got all the time in the world for him because of his status at Sunderland but I do also like the bloke.

Not the extent that he can literally do no wrong, I'm sometimes scratching my head at some things he says but I think he's a decent fella and pundit.

I understand why you like him, I just think he says things to keep himself in a job, in a controversial way like Katie Hopkins... full to the tip of his head with ****.

Did he get a trophy for that?

Nobody's saying he was a world class forward, he was good for us that's all. He's as entitled as anyone else to give his opinion on Ibra, especially as someone who made a career out of playing in the same position, even if he is dead wrong this time.

Don't see 'SKP' banging on about Ibrahimovic though, there's the difference, he was class... Quinn is a running mouth.
