Maybe Matt Mills, him and fonte together would be an awesome pair.
On current form, emnes would be a good shout as well. I am also a big fan of Adam Clayton, who plays for Leeds, although I think I prefer having cork.
To be honest though, for me with the way we are currently playing there aren't many better players out there than what we have already.

Haha i thought this the other day when i was bored trying to go to sleep,ummmmmmmmmmm a hard one but i quite like Nolan for west ham,goalscoring midfielders are rare so i'd might go for him.

Nicky Maynard. Brilliant player the right side of 25, price was the only thing making me not 100% sure whether I wanted to see us get him.
Any Pompey player really we could do with some one to make the tea' clean toilets carry the bucket and sponge cut up half time oranges etc you get the idea
Saw Maynard play against Hull, he was very poor and got booed for his performance. Looks like he's not happy at Bristol city so we may be in with a shout
Another issue is attitude - I don't know the lad obviously so can't comment but a lot of people have said it is quite poor. So my choice is on the basis of him being on the bus, so to speak
