No idea why I used the American English there, I read a lot of American novelists it must be warping me. Welsh though is amddiffyniad so don't see what that has to do with it. <laugh>

Just confirming that you had no reason to! :) Btw, there's no such thing as 'American English': the very phrase is an oxymoron.

I think its google chrome. The region on my pc is set correctly and MS word is in english Uk too but this chrome browser insists... as does my phone.

oh... just looking in advanced settings and found i could delete english us and add english uk to the langauge. lets see

Americanised bolloxology.

WHOO HOO.... all it did was capitalise Americanised

Not read the article but is there any mention of the non existent midfield and the errors from Clyne and Lovren?

Also, why was Klaven so deep for walcotts goals?

I'm all for the Moreno bashing but at least highlight the errors from other players that were actually punished in the game. <ok>

Klavan was deep because he was following the run of the striker.

They can't afford to get rid of consonants surely...
They have their own. :)
Strictly speaking, "J" isn't a legitimate Welsh letter either. Names like John and Jones are anglicisations of the traditional form, though I think the "J" is more or less accepted these days.
Anyway, not very relevant to this thread.

Does anyone know how far Gomez is off coming back? I know an ACL is desperate business at his age and he shouldn't be rushed back, but providing he has the mobility he had, even if not the speed, I'd try him again at LB with, maybe, Moreno at LH/LWB if we insist on not getting a new LB. Something needs to be done though.

Shout out for Klavan though (not wanting to jinx him), but he looks solid, if not spectacular. Better replacement for the past-it Skrtel though.

No thanks to Gomez at LB - wouldn't offer much going forward and and I wouldn't want to waste his ability there. Plus the amount of running required would put an added strain on his body.

I hope we let him develop at CB.

Hmmm. I'm talking temporary as opposed to long-term, but fair enough. We must do something though: I appreciate that Moreno still has his defenders , but we're one less defender whilst he's there. He's not getting any better, and now he's being targeted too. At least play someone solid at left half in front of him and stop wasting Coutinho there if there's to be no new LB. But the problem isn't going away.

Is there anyone defending Moreno anymore?

I will. People are in such a rush to criticise him they ignore [HASHTAG]#reality[/HASHTAG]

He didn't give the ball away, Lallana did. The entire team was ****e in the first half not just him. He won the ball for the alleged penalty.

He's young and Klopp will either bin him for being uncoachable or else turn him into one of the best fullbacks in Europe in a year or so.
