Euthanasia
A touch optimistic Pat?

Ok, so exactly how can Allam get his money back?
Pinning his hopes on another promotion would seem like a massive gamble.
Hopefully, he now knows he will never get his name change (for his sake and ours).
But this question won't go away, how will they get their money?
All they have to sell is a few decent footballers. I haven't weighed up what they might be worth, £40m?
tops?
Righting off that debt seems to me, the only rational way forward.
From the Allams perspective, that's not ideal, but what else do they have left?
With the new TV deal next season, pretty much all Premier League clubs will be worth at least £60-70m and there's every chance the debt could be recovered.
Why on earth would he write any of the debt off, it would be completely pointless?

Why on earth would he write any of the debt off, it would be completely irrational?
Like I said, that would depend on us getting promotion this coming season? A huge gamble in my eyes.
The huge gamble was spunking £100m on getting us there in the first place, getting back there has simply become a necessity.

Why are people bothered about the club's history ?
It's nothing to be proud of. Low league, rubbish football. Always in debt. Three thousand crowd in some crappy stadium.

Every time there's a new deal people get excited about making money from it but it never happens. Agents and players get the money and clubs that don't spend it get relegated immediately.
I agree with Kempton that promotion really isn't a formality. Especially if our budget can't stretch to keeping McShane and we can't afford to match Reading's offer for Quinn.
I'm sure some other philanthropist from Hull, would step in were that the case. It's not like it's only the Allams funding all activities in the city. There's rumours doing the rounds on social media tonight, that the Allams have pulled all funding from the women's team.
It seems unlikely, the money involved is tiny and wouldn't be worth the grief.
Suited?
