Not really news to me, as I'd have been amazed if Atletico didn't pay us that money. Even if they still go ahead and sell Toby to us, it means they could get £10m+ off of us now. Giving us that money just makes perfect financial sense for them (or allows them to keep him now, which also makes sense).

I see it as them giving us nearly £2 million of letting us borrow a quality player :).

Hmm, hey, this goalkeeper/midfielder/defender/attacker is dutch and available on a free. ...He'll be off to southampton then.

Victor says he would love to play for Arsenal but it is up to Southampton. TBH he would hardly say he didn't want to play for Arsenal (insert any team here) as you don't know what the future holds. I doubt Saints are interested in selling him if we are to lose Morgan.
This was reported like a month ago, we even had it on here. People need to stop posting everything from NewsNow. Specially stuff like HITC, 99% of it is recycled over and over again.

Article in Echo talking about our desire to move on Ramirez and Osvaldo. We could all work that out. Shocking to think that Osvaldo has still got 2 more years on his contract:headbang: Boca Juniors want him because he has scored well for them, but can't take him for financial reasons...I think we should just pay them what they want :) Joking aside, it's his wages that stop these moves....even if we accepted a rock bottom price, would he give up 2 years on his inflated wages. There seems little chance that we are dealing with a reasonable man here.....might have been cheaper in the long run if we'd taken the hit and sacked him when he head butted Jose. As for Ramirez (and I can't dislike him), he is in his last season and could be cheap to shift as he is a talented player just unsuited to the EPL. Wages may again be an issue, but by going to Hull, he showed himself willing to compromise.

So according to rumours/reports we're losing Schneiderlin, Clyne and Alderweireld and we're no longer signing Vihena or Clasie (Roma). :( Well Happy Birthday to me :emoticon-0106-cryin

I figure that everyday I wake up and nothing has happened, is a good day. In fact, lets just start the season now.

I really hope we break our transfer record this summer, just so that it's not Osvaldo.
