I think you'll find they did. As did Sport England. The only bodie who paid nothing was the Rugby League. Adam Pearson as owner of Hull City at the time put up a £1m guarantee to cover the stadiums losses over the first year. Hull FC contributed..................nothing.

Did not Bother FC 2 years ago, when a local junior community football club (over 20 teams catering from 4 upwards) lost use of it's council owned training facilities, it had been using for over 10 years @ sirus academy (pickering school), we even had to play 2nd fiddle to their cheerleaders at times. they were supposed to offer it out for community use, but we only got offered silly times.

Success on the tiny world of rugby league comes very cheap. Your challenge cup is a joke, four wins and you are in the final! Yet the Hull teams between them have won it less time then Sheffield who only bought a franchise a few years ago.
If City won a cup for winning four matches we would have would have been at Wembley 18 times. Name the ten biggest crowds this city has ever seen daft lad? All for Hull City and all at Boothferry Park.
Rugby League isn't football, its a very small franchised sport with 14 clubs with no relegation. A joke sport in other words.
Hull City also won at Wembley.

Actually if you check the facts Hull Fc handed over a stadium worth 3.5m,Hull City handed over Boothferry park which at the time was only worth 2.5m.

Because of the difference in the two stadiums value Hull City where actually asked by the council to match the difference in the form of a guarantee of 1m, And the fact is nothing of the 1m guarantee was actually paid because in the first 10yrs of the stadium being run although a small profit was actually made it did indeed make a small profit.

What about the seasons before then? And the 800 v Huyton?
This is keeping you awake at night isn't it my eggchasing pal? Are you worried that City get promoted or something and blow your little sport out of the water again?

You seem to have missed off the part about the Council valuing the Boulevard for an inflated price which amazingly matched the amount needed to get FC out of debt. <ok>

No actually if you actually knew anything you would know that Fc at the time of handing over the stadium where actually under new owners who had at that time paid the debts owed by the club off and taken the debts upon themselves.

The only reason that the two grounds where priced differently was because boothferry park was in such a bad state of disrepair compared to the Boulevard

A stadium worth 3.5m?? Are you an idiot? It was a two sided **** tip with 300 seats. It was valued at £300,000 ( my house is worth more then that) but the council paid £750,000 which was exactly the amount FC were in debt. You might not like the to hear the truth but do some research and you will find I am spot on.
    Boothferry Park sold for £1.1m.
Sorry sunshine but you sound like a lot of FC fans at the fish finger factory. Simply making up figures does not make things become truth and the truth is rugby league is a minority sport and your worst nightmare is a successful Hull City. That is fact.

I struggle with the logic of some FC fans. In general, Rovers fans tend to enjoy watching their team for its own sake, but a fair proportion of FC fans seem to feel the need to compare themselves to City, even though it's a totally different sport. We're not really in competition apart from to get the money from sponsors and the people that follow both codes of football.

Coming on here and trying to get into a pissing contest is hardly likely to get their case much support. If one of the better ones is reading, why not post a rational comment on what's occurring? Surely if you've a valid point, getting support from us as well can only help your case?

Just ranting is only going to make you look daft.

Erm, no. The debt free bit came from the stadium valuation. <ok>

A rugby league player who played for 'England' fewer times then Nick Barmby or Stuart Pearson. The difference being 'England' in football terms means the entire country and 'England' in eggchasing terms means parts of Yorkshire, a bit of Lanchashire, a bit of Cumbria and erm, that's it.

The money that a pre match suite makes is perhaps the argument. Do Hull Fc get a premium from it? Could it be that Hull FC do not pay to have the suite, but take part of the profits, but Hull City pay for the suites that they use?
Would it be the same for the premier club?

Actually why would Hull City being successful be my worst nightmare, Obviously your the one who doesn't wish equal success for any team from Hull, unlike yourself I'm more than happy to see any sporting team from this town have success as it only brings a good reflection upon the town.

The truth is both clubs fortunes have greatly improved since moving to the KC.

And sorry to tell you but think your the one who had better check your figures.
