If there's money to be made, how come the SMC, since the Allams took control have posted losses of £300k and £400k?

Probably to offset profits in other areas. Quite common in business.

I know, fancy expecting everyone else to pay but them. Bloody freeloaders. <ok>

As for your comments about Mr Allam, I suspect you've been getting your views from the rugby board. Believe me, most of what i saw on there was well wide of the mark. It's embarrassing to think that some people swallow that as 'fact'
Take those blinkers off pal, council wouldn't give him the stadium - he takes down the council flag. SMC makes a small profit over 10 years, Allam gets hold of it, massive losses! Basketball club forced to Ennerdale due to "an exorbitant increase in rental costs" Falls out with Pearson - Takes down all pics and memorabilia relating to FC and refuses the Goalkicker 15 minutes to practise. The list goes on. You also need to comprehend that when it comes to Johnny Whiteley, who is probably the most reveered sportsman from the city, Allam has managed to even unite FC and Rovers fans in disgust, no mean feat!

The flat earth society said exactly the same things about Adam Pearson when he was Citys main man. The thick bastards even accused him of watering the beer down!
You will find that these opposing the Allams number about ten and are the same ten who have opposed everything anyone at Hull City have ever tried to do.
They support a franchised sport who sold out to SKY to become a filler-in whilst the football started again. A club who did a MK Dons and bought another clubs franchise and transferred it to Hull when there own 'world famous' club folded under a mountain of debt only to be saved by public money ie; Hull City ratepayers.
They are a deluded bunch who think they are on par with Manchester United when they are not as big as Bury FC. But try telling the HDM or radio rugby aka radio Humberside that.
The sooner this lot joined up with preston road rovers the better, then they might get a decent crowd between them and win silverware to equal the likes of Leigh Miners welfare, Sheffield Whoever, or Swinton ( village near Rotherham).

I'm no expert, but most of your anger is simply because you've swallowed some of the mass hysteria off that RL board.

Since the stadium opened, it's ALWAYS been the case that both clubs were limited to training time on the pitch. So no news there.

I've no idea who John Whitely is. He may well be a legend in Rl and a truly great man.

The pictures were presumably taken down when AP decided not to pay. That's his business decision.

The stadium complex needs to turn a profit to pay for its maintenance, especially if some tenants don't want to pay their share.

The losses posted are misleading. The SMC still has strong assets and is a viable concern. To claim otherwise is ignorance or mischief making.

As I said, you need to look further than that RL board for more informd opinions.

Ah, you must be the intelligent one? Tell me old chap, what Silverware have Hull City ever won? I'll tell you, Fook all!
There's only two clubs that have paraded major trophies in their sport around Hull, and they both play RL.
You think two years in the Premier League that almost put us out of business makes us a big club? There's only one thick bastard here pal.

I think having a few fans and playing a sport the odd person gives a **** about probably makes us a big club by RL standards...

Also part of the roof blew off the KC Last week. Who do you think paid for that? Not Hull FC trading as Gatesheadthunder, not Hull City Council (who havne' t a pot to piss in) The Allams paid as they do for all the maintenance on the KC. FC couldn't pay the milkman, so why should they get a free ride??????

When you consider you're competing against so few other teams, most with an income far below yours, the return in trophies at FC is pitiful.

The football club may not have won much, but its national profile is still far in excess of RL, I mean, isn't it ranked in the same viewing slot as table tennis? My pub's got a wall full of trophies, does that make them bigger than FC? <laugh> You really need to widen your horizons.

Just enjoy your sport for what it is.

Humberside are on the case .Mike White‏@mikewhitesport

Aware of the claim that #HullFC pictures have been taken down from the KC Stadium. I've invited both FC & Allams to talk to me today (1/2)

FC supporting Mike white didn't know Hull had a football club until we won promotion to the Premier League. He 'supports' Wrestling FFS.
Hardly an independent voice.

More people watch RL in this city than Football, that's a fact.

<laugh> <laugh> ****ing hell, we've got a right one here. <laugh>

Go on then, I'll humour you, post a link to something that gives that nonsense a shred of credibility. <laugh>

You need to check your facts mate, Super League gets the highest viewing figures on Sky Sports outside the Premiership.
