England is an island. end of.
There you go with your "end of" again, you goon....
England isn't an island - it's one of three countries which, together, make up an island called Britain.

Not with all of them it isn't. But the german humour is so different especially with the older generation from my experiences.
Good chance of Proschwitz playing at Winterton tuesday night. Could put a few on the gate if he does.
Looking at his Youtube vid again he looks like he has a good first touch and good feet for a big bloke. His technical ability also looks good.Proschwitz is a very interesting signing, not sure what to make of it really as he ticks the boxes for a big striker who can score but then there are a lot of question marks over him too. Sehr gut!
By the way the thing about Germans lacking humour is a complete load of bull****.

Germany is a great place, lots of great scenery, lovely people, and they keep the place clean unlike the ****holes we have for towns and cities. People slagging off Germany and Germans quite often have never been there and have formed their opinions of Germans from bad English actors in old war-films and so on. The current generation of Germans have nothing to do with what happened in 1945 and before. Proschwitz is a very interesting signing, not sure what to make of it really as he ticks the boxes for a big striker who can score but then there are a lot of question marks over him too. Sehr gut!
Well said Sir. Germany is a quality place, the second I have enough money Im straight off to live there again! Its like a few have said - England without the chavs. If anyone gets the chance go to Berlin for a night out - they have somehow managed to make a bombed out wreck into the party town of the century (unlike London).
According to Bruce, we were never in for Heskey.
According to Bruce's agent we never talked to him about the job as manager. Bruce said at the press conference that they had been talking for two to three weeks, kind of blows the agents statement out of the water. Think as a team are going to keep things closer under wraps.
Lived in Osnabruck for 8 years as an army brat,
I love the country.
sky sports understand we have agreed the deal, personal terms and passed his medical and he is about to sign.
it also says in a 2 year deal. does anyone else find this a little odd (if true), i would have thought at least a 3 year deal. he is only 25.
do you think it is more his own demands, he does not want to be stuck with us for too long if he does not see that we are premiership bound. but then this would suggest to me if he wanted to leave if we don't have a good season, he will only have 1 year left on his contract so could not recoup at much as we seem to be paying. it just seems quite a short contract to me, or maybe i just play football manager too much.....

The people of Carlisle and Newcastle might be interested to hear about that new sea that has replaced the land mass to the north of them...
