If we do get Proschwitz (as now seems likely) does anyone think we should still get Heskey? I think we need four decent strikers to have a real go at promotion (not including Mark Cullan) possibly two big 'uns and two little 'uns. So maybe Proschwitz, Heskey, Fryatt and Mclean or sell Mclean and bring in King.
Looks to me that everyone as the manager has said is going to been given a clean slate. I heard Maclean was going had Barmby still been in charge. He didnt fancy him. Bruce hasnt made any mention of King and I would very much doubt that we are in for him. The Allams want promotion and I dont think you will get it giving a lot of loan youngsters a chance. Thats why we missed out last season because we blew up in the end. You need experisnce when the pressure is on.
Proschwitz, Fryatt, Simpson, McLean with Koren & Stewart being able to play in and around the strikers if needs be. However, I would try & get McLean and/or Simpson off the wage bill and bring in another on loan maybe
I think all of our existing strikers could improve their goal tallies by playing in partnership with a big 'un like Proschwitz. The only problem is if he gets injured we're back to square one, so another big striker (who could also put pressure on the the German) would be very handy. Somehow I can't see Simpson staying.

Seem to recall pictures posted of Jay Simpson having his medical at the Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital on the corner of Lowfield road and Beverley Road, Anlaby two seasons ago.
The UK is an island. end of. Some Germans do lack a sense of good humour but they do fantastic beer festivals. The glasses in germany are much better for drinkers. According to Brucies agent City were not talking to Steve Bruce when indeed we were. We need a minimum of 4 strikers but 5 would be better. Hopefully OJ gets his finger out this time. Fryatt - Mclean - Proschwitz - Heskey - Simpson or ??? look far better.
Germany is a great place, lots of great scenery, lovely people, and they keep the place clean unlike the ****holes we have for towns and cities. People slagging off Germany and Germans quite often have never been there and have formed their opinions of Germans from bad English actors in old war-films and so on. The current generation of Germans have nothing to do with what happened in 1945 and before. Proschwitz is a very interesting signing, not sure what to make of it really as he ticks the boxes for a big striker who can score but then there are a lot of question marks over him too. Sehr gut!
Not with all of them it isn't. But the german humour is so different especially with the older generation from my experiences. Good chance of Proschwitz playing at Winterton tuesday night. Could put a few on the gate if he does.
