Read this yesterday and Cirks and it shows how deeply the lads at the club connect.Dunno if posted elsewhere, but dont really care tbh, can never have too much of Luke O'Nien.
His post re. Cirkin....What a bloke man, had me choked.
You just know thats coming from the heart.

Surprised we didn’t do more to keep Dennis but given the quality of our recruitment over the past 12 months we can’t be critical and let’s see what we are bringing in this summer. You must log in or register to see media

Dennis Cirkin…
People that tuned into Sunderland this season for the first time in years, didn’t see the best of Cirkin.
11 games missed with injury, 73 in the last 4 seasons… he’s been consistently let down by his body.
But when fit, he was a crucial part of our ascent from League 1.
It’s players like Cirkin that made Europa League football on Wearside possible, and they won’t be forgotten.
If he can stay fit, someone is signing a top player. Good luck to him!
Cirkin's a quality player but the club has been commendably good at not giving in to sentiment.Surprised we didn’t do more to keep Dennis but given the quality of our recruitment over the past 12 months we can’t be critical and let’s see what we are bringing in this summer.
He’s some bloke O Nien. We must keep him as a coach in the future. Imagine him with the academy kids.Read this yesterday and Cirks and it shows how deeply the lads at the club connect.
It’s brilliant to see. As I said in the other thread it’s a real shame for Cirks. Had he stayed fit I’ve little doubt he’d have developed to a level.
There are no words for Luke. He’s as red and white as anyone of us he feels it all. Adopted Mackem doesn’t cover it. ‘Morphed Mackem’ maybe.
Good shout, although... Didn't he make a conscious decision to leave London when he joined us? Something about bad influences there and too many distractions from football iirc? Maybe less of an issue now he's a bit older.Cirkin absolutely stinks of a West Ham signing. Good luck to the lad
The Adopted Mackem thing is something you don’t hear. We, as a fanbase, don’t throw it around like them up the road with the Geordie equivalent (lost count of the number of “adopted geordies” both them and The press keep going on about) Isak certainly was spoken about like that!Read this yesterday and Cirks and it shows how deeply the lads at the club connect.

Hopefully a job for life mate. Sets the tone and heartbeat of the club. He’s some bloke O Nien. We must keep him as a coach in the future. Imagine him with the academy kids.
that would be a very nice signingLinked to Amadou Kone from Neom according Pete Orourke
Also seen a dubious link to Roony from Barca
Gotta sign him. How many clubs would ever have had Onien Bardghji on theor team sheetsLinked to Amadou Kone from Neom according Pete Orourke

Neom - The old enemy resurfaces@SportsPeteO
Nottingham Forest and Sunderland are among several clubs eyeing moves for Neom midfielder Amadou Kone. Roma are also keen on the energetic box-to-box central midfielder. #nffc #safc #Roma #Neom
Nope, wrong personality for our group, which is why United wanted him out.Hypothetical- would any of you sign Rashford?
Big name signings like Rashford put me in mind of Rodwell. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole!Nope, wrong personality for our group, which is why United wanted him out.
