Assume this is about potential bans for those involved, rather than any action against the club directly. Who knows though

Comments section is already starting to get good. Relegation to League One and getting off lightly with the punishment given are already being discussed

Most football fans are clinically insane, so I wouldn't take the comments that seriously tbh

What pisses me off is if we hadn't made the play off final the worst case senario would have been a points deduction for next season and a fine. Thinking about it we wouldn't have even got that because no one would've known unless we got caught doing it next season.
We'd still lose all our best players, though, which is the most galling outcome of the whole thing for me. It's the only real reason I wanted to win the playoffs, to keep this team together and do amazing things next season. Meanwhile, Bournemouth looking likely to get in the CL next season, and Brighton even in with a shot. Thankfully, we still have Pompey!

I felt chilled when I woke up this morning. Now you lot have got me going again .

Look at it this way.
If we had played and lost on Saturday we would be crying and licking our wounds. Players would be looking to leave.

Now we are still 21 games unbeaten. We have time to make the right decisions. We go again and win the league because we know we deserve it!

Exactly, the same players that would’ve wanted out if we had lost the final, are the same players that will look to leave now.

I agree mostly,if the club can reset properly next season could be ok,trouble is there is so much to clear out and Sr's track record ain't brilliant.

Assuming that Dragan was unaware of the spying. Who else knew apart from Tonda who organised the spying but didn’t know the 72 hour rule. Spors?, Parsons? Of all of the Technical Directors we’ve had, Spors is/was one of the best and the same for Tonda. I hope Dragan stays and finds some more gems at Board Level.

Still like Hull to win, so we can play Boro next season, but animosity towards Boro has faded a bit. Logically, we broke the rules and are being punished. When I say ‘we’ ‘ I am not of course including us fans :mad:
How about one of you starting a sweep-stake one here for the game on Saturday guessing how many times each team shirt pulls, dives, time wastes etc aka cheating?

It could give you some sort of response when others try to wind you up over this seasons events.

8 each team is my guess to start off.

I hope we conduct an investigation and find many clubs have done the same thing.

And pass it all over to our lawyers. There’s no way others haven’t done this, so it’s funny the pearl clutching of other clubs testing us like we had just eaten their children.
I've been thinking the same. Maybe this explains why no other clubs have come forward with evidence of us, cos they know they're in danger of being exposed too. We are 100% not the only cub doing this.

I have been ploughing through the EFL Handbook, 541 Pages, looking for guidance on intelligence gathering etc. I couldn't find anything, other than the remote Rule 127 on page 390. The Rule 3.4 seems to cover it, but there aren't any obvious guidelines? They must be covered elsewhere?
Rule 3.5 is interesting and somehow I feel that Middlesborough certainly breached that one.

I am wondering where do you draw line, from a man in a bush with a mobile phone and the modern use of technology to gain information on other Clubs?

Good luck to your Tigers mate. I hope you smash them at Wembley on Saturday.

I'm hoping Boro win, can't be arsed with loads of fake rivalry nonsense peddled by Sky.

You know for a ****ing fact other clubs are doing it and have effectively gotten away with it.

Said it yesterday and it's 100% true. We are the lightning rod for people's frustration

Now watch our club get ripped apart and when someone else gets caught face nothing close to the same level of scrutiny.

Man City have 115 charges against them, and they're still allowed to win league titles and FA Cups. Are they going to be kicked out of the PL, or stripped of their titles when found guilty of many of them?

You know the answer to that one.
