Keep going back to the maddest thing being our best result was beating Arsenal, and Tonda saying "we think we have a couple of things we've noticed that we can hurt them with" - and they're the one team we definitely couldn't have spied on.

Hugely frustrating because there's a really good coach in there.

This is by far the most absurd thing for me. I may be wrong but I assume it would have been borderline impossible to spy on them.

So we can beat the champions of England fair and square but need to spy on ****ing Oxford? **** off mush.

In fairness nobody knew we'd been doing it for about 5 months until yesterday. I actually don't think it's that harsh now either if I'm honest. It's a bit disproportionate yes but ultimately any punishment was on the table and there's plenty of precedent for kicking teams out of knockout competitions.

Plus if the stories of him bullying junior staff members into taking part are true then that's even worse.

He's gone mate. He'll get an FA ban anyway.
Did Bielsa get a ban? or further punishment other than the fine?

Have to say, from an outside perspective it does feel a bit death sentence for shoplifting.
Yes for me it's a bit like speeding on the motorway to get the advantage of getting somewhere quicker.

You know the speed limit is 70mph and you are taking a risk doing 80.

Most of the time you will get away with it but if you are caught you can expect a fine and points on your licence.

In our case, they have taken our car away to be crushed.

I honestly think Hull should just get promoted. We've been severely punished yes, but Boro getting a bye when it was evident they were unabale to win over two games feels wrong. Wonder if Hull will question that?

As I said yesterday though, can anyone provide an example in English knock out football where a team was kicked out and the team they drew next got a bye instead of the team they beat?

I think it's right that Boro go through personally based on precedent, the timing is dogshit though.

What pisses me off is if we hadn't made the play off final the worst case senario would have been a points deduction for next season and a fine. Thinking about it we wouldn't have even got that because no one would've known unless we got caught doing it next season.

Its really not. Its like getting caught speeding after getting away from robbing a bank of £200m.

You all should direct your anger at the utter idiots who sanctioned cheating.

More information will come out in the next few days. But the mess caused by people at your club will roll on. Just hope evidence from more clubs isnt found and the other clubs don't sue.

Complete feckin morons at your club and that means everyone who knew have effectively ruined your season and for what a very minor advantage.

Forget other clubs maybe the fans of Southampton should sue to get their money back from those who have destroyed a season.
