Just one. Sh*t.

Felt a bit sorry for Ben Nelson - he's still learning and he's had a bit of a mare - but the coaching also has questions to answer - given our predicament we should be meeting every ball, ensuring the keeper is bawling commands and ensuring there is somebody up front with the legs to chase clearance - that's not Jordan Ayew!...

Don't understand why Ayew keeps getting selected. After almost every game he is voted the worst player on the pitch, yet he still gets picked to start. After Daka scored a couple of games ago and showed his willingness to close down I would have expected him to kick on and build his confidence but he's not getting a start.

Rowett was brought in presumably to sort out the defence and stop the goals going in. It's not unusual for a team to get that new manager bounce, but we seem to be the exception on both counts.

Getting close to do or die. While not an essential result it almost is as far as gathering some hope of momentum and putting other teams on notice. Watford had a game midweek, so we need to come out fast and firing.

Looking at the remaining fixtures, we play 3 of the bottom 6 away from home, Pompey have to play the current top 3, Oxford look to have the easier run in, WBA only have 2 of the top 6 to play and Blackburn have 2 of the top 3 to play.

Should have won at a canter... this was my view - so penalty right in front of us ...

Everybody to a man uttered - 'no!' as soon as Daka stepped up to take it ... he also missed an absolute sitter in the second half ...

Was excruciatingly painful all round - games are running out, wins needed, and you can't win without scoring goals - and our goal scoring options are just not good enough ...

Why oh why didn’t we sign a striker in January? It’s obvious Daka and Ayew aren’t natural goalscorers yet that’s all we’ve got to work with. That header Daka missed was embarrassing and it’s going to cost us at this rate, games are running out.

I would have been just to your left. I was in row KK.

Season ticket prices frozen to for next year but, if you're on the DD scheme you've got to commit by the end of April. Before we know what league we'll be in.
( I've got a good guess and it doesn't start with a C)...

I think you're being a bit optimistic there, Foxy. Do you seriously think we'll be in the Premier League next season! <yikes>

Given that our best player has just limped injured off playing for Wales, my limited optimism for Championship survival just crashed.

*it might just be a knock but not with our current luck <doh>

Hopefully just an impact injury and will be fine with the additional rest ... think Ramsey is also close to a return ...

Rowett has said that our situation needs experienced heads rather than youngsters. Daka and Ayew have plenty of that, but precious little else when it comes to scoring goals. A bit of youthful enthusiasm might come in handy if he can get a striker from somewhere in the club and get them to train with the first team during the international break.
