For what it's worth,I think the wage bill will be on the decrease last season (and this)because the penny has finally dropped with laughing boy that he's running up an uncontrollable debt,throwing money at mates..

As for the Sheff Utd story,most likely a load of bollox but anyone thinking that he(Illicali) would fight tooth and nail to keep the lad, is deluded...He'd sell his ****ing Granny!!

It went from.8.6 because Ehab was paying players (some that are still here) league one wages of 2 to 4k a week.
I'm on my phone so hard to be too accurate without a pen and paper but it's no secret omur and one other (I can't remember who) were on 30k a week last year. There is 3 mil alone on 2 players.

Take another 10 on 20k and there is 13mil on 12 players.
Then add in another 10 on 10k you're at 18.5 mil for 22 players.

Top of my head we went through around 30 players last year so there are 8 to 10 more on a variety of wages including some who played most games on 4k a week. Let's throw all 10 in at 4k a week and you have a total wage bill of 20mil+ for the first team players alone. Then add in football staff, academy players, academy staff, medical staff. It won't be far off 27mil.

Add into this bonuses it's about right.

And yeah, I think you're right, it will be coming down for sure. Which it needs to.
