Ajayi at least is a decent Championship defender but has been very unlucky with hamstring injuries, probably due to his pace. Tall, quick players are plagued by hamstring injuries.

Hause has literally not played a minute of competitive football in two years and only made three appearances in the 2022/23 season on loan at Watford. His knee is ****ed beyond repair as he’s had multiple injuries. Selling two dependable centre-halves and replacing them with him would just be ridiculous even for us. I’m hoping it’s just bollocks as it shows that Hodge and Dublin are just as clueless as the last ‘brain team’.

When Acun took over and McCann was still in charge(poor wages or not),we were 19th in the League(something like 10 points clear of the drop zone)?

To think that it(the wage bill) almost trebled and we scraped to safety on goal difference last season clearly indicates that we've been had over the bonnet by some of these big earners?

Absolutely. Sinik, Omur and the like have destroyed us.

For all his faults Ehab run a very tight wage structure, forced McCann to have to use the likes of Greaves and KLP and look where that got us.

I really hope that Acun is given sound advice now about calming the hell down and getting the squad on a more affordable wage budget. My fear is that boring mid table mid wage bill side won't be enough for him though and once this embargo is lifted he will be balls deep into another exciting 30 to 40k a week player

Jones and Macca collectively have 337 appearances in all competitions for us during their time at the club. Hause has 46 appearances in the same period. 46 appearances in six seasons.

    Nice.
