Have they not seen that we haven't been beaten at home by more than 1 goal all season and most of those defeats were when we had our feet up waiting for the play-offs?
They should look at their 0 away wins since the 1st of March and be a bit concerned - did win 9/10 games in a back 5 though and then franky boy switched it up
Since frank lampard came in their away record is

W 5 - D 2 - L 7 with a GD of -6 scoring 16 and conceding 22.

Our home form is

W 7 - D 4 - L 4 with a GD of +4 scoring 18 and conceding 14. Those 4 loses were all 1-0 and came when we essentially had nothing to play for (bar hull but you can make an argument for it)

To break down further

Coventry:

Wins:
Milwall 1-0
Blackburn 2-0
Swansea 2-0
Sheff Wed 2-1
Oxford 3-2

draws:
Cardiff 1-1
Hull 1-1

losses:
West Brom 2-0
Pompey 4-1
Norwich 2-1
Derby 2-0
Sheff Utd 3-1
Plymouth 3-1
Luton 1-0

in that run they’ve amassed 22.69 xG scoring 18 so underperforming by almost 5. Interestingly in the last 5 games (all came after their last win at Oxford on March 1st) they’ve only created 4.94 xG. The Oxford game I believe was the away game he switched to 4 ATB and it’s clearly not worked. He may switch back

I know they got a couple of lucky goals in there too, red cards etc. Obviously all this goes out the window in the play offs. Do with this information what you wish and you if you want to know anything else just ask

Not that I think we would necessarily be "bamboozled" but i am curious if frank keeps the same setup, should be at least 1 change of personnel and maybe even 2/3

I'd be disappointed if we were 'bamboozled' by a formation they played consistently under Robins so the squad is built for it and played it as recently as March under Lampard.

I did think the league as a whole was past the underestimating Le Bris and our players by now, but at the same time I said before the game we could surprise Lampard by playing Ballard and we managed that.
Was clear Lampard set them up to just hit BTA in the box and I think they'd have done it with Mepham in from the start.

Everybody got their 3rd kit sorted out then if we play Sheff U. Do they get the option of picking their home strip as they finished higher?

Why do sky and other TV channels hate us so much, is it because of our nearest and dearest love in they have (entertainers) and all that. They should realize that we were the most comfortable 4th placed team this season and just coasted in the last 6 games. I really hope we stuff them so they can carry it on to a sheff UTD, which they will until we stuff them

I think they're right, lets totally open up our defense and let them attack us easier because we are the bigger club. Are their fans trying to guilt trip us into not playing defensive?

What kind of forum have you stumbled across there? I'm positive some people have never watched a game of football before yet talk so freely about it.

That's just the coventry message board, not sure if its really a popular opinion but there does seem to be a lot of discussion about how they can easily beat us with a slight change of tactics.

Out of curiosity (I can't remember for the life of me) would another yellow for cirkin have him unavailable for the final? Wasn't sure if one in each leg of the semi's had you out.

I wouldn't be surprised if RLB keeps the same side and tactics. Coventry will try and score an early goal to get it level again and with Wilson and Mayenda's pace we can hit them on the break. The longer it goes on without a change in the score, the more they're gonna push forward

If they didn't spent a minute to take every throw in with the fullback having to go from one side of the pitch to the other, maybe they might have more time to score.

Of course Coventry fans are going to think they can still beat us. So they should. It would be appalling if they were all saying “tie over”. If the roles were reversed they’d be getting crucified on here.

We have to be on our game and I’m sure we will be.
