Agree completely. The idea that the players don't care or lack effort is trotted out virtually every time we have a bad result this season. It was clear the team were working really hard on Saturday, which is why Derby could barely get out of their own half for much of the second half. It's lack of ideas especially in the final third which has been our achilles heel all season, not lack of effort.I don’t think effort was a problem in Saturday - it was more lack of ideas.

Barry with 4 games, 0 goals, 0 assists, who's not played a competitive game for months.
I know we are desperate, but starting him, or even bringing him on from the bench, would be beyond desperate (imo - do we need to caveat every time now?).
It was reported he was back on the grass last Monday...?Hes not even training
He will not be in the squad
End of
Reuben said he’d had a stack and won’t be comingIt was reported he was back on the grass last Monday...
Half of those FA Cup goals were a hattrick against non-league opposition.
Never mind Barry Is Sinek even in Hull?I'm thinking Barry will start on Saturday.... bloody long time until then.
Ok, admittedly straws, clutching, at……when Abu was put in front of the media firing squad, wasn’t it for messaging his bestie on SM, from Portsmouth?? Can he now message him, not on SM, obviously, asking for a huge favour this Sat, please, pretty please.
Edit….SM = social media![]()
Sinik doesn't even know that.Never mind Barry Is Sinek even in Hull?
Everyone's saying we need to forget about a draw, go for the win. But I really don't think it's as simple as that. Obviously a win is ideal, but what is our best chance of staying up? If we lose we're down, and we're in very poor form. So like it or not, we do have to entertain the possibility that a draw might be all we can get and we might have to hang onto that. If we concede first you really wouldn't fancy this side's chances of getting back into it, so we can't do that. To some extent we will have to keep it tight, stay in the game and keep ourselves in a position where we have the luxury of looking at other scores in the second half and deciding what to do. If we're a goal down and chasing it then we'll already have one foot in League 1.
