Am I the only one who’d be pretty bored with either Cannon or BBD? Where’s the excitement? Where’s the opportunity for watching a handful of YouTube videos and extrapolating out to a Ballon D’Or? Give me a FM wonderkid instead, please.
Tbf i'm easy with Cannon or Frigan, signing a striker who has 11 goals in this league so far would have me excited if we managed it haha

I think. 7M for cannon is a fair price. But I’d rather a different style striker. Frigan will cost more than that, I also think that’s fair
Both of them are fine. Maybe they'd actually be pretty good. But while we can probably say what their floor is, we also can be pretty sure about their ceiling. One thing we've done pretty well in the KLD era is to make sure we bring in players with really high potential. Given we've actually got a few strikers who have shown they can already do the 'solid champ striker' routine, I've got the appetite for a player who could go much further than being a champ promotion player. If we're just looking to get over the line, there's far more interesting ways of doing that. For instance, I'd be placing a call to Luton to see if the upheaval there might make them tempted to part with Carlton Morris.

I hope we're just making Sheff Utd up their bids and effectively blow their budget on BBD and Cannon cos I'd rather have an unknown teenager from the french conference than pay the money that's being mentioned

I'm not sure either his current performance or his future potential gets him ahead of Isidor. While £7m looks reasonable given where he's come from and his general performances, I'm far from convinced that he's worth that to us as we are configured right now. We get Cannon in this January and I'm far from sure he manages to get the starting shirt off Wilson.
Aye, I'm being a bit flippant but if we really want to make proper progression as a club built on solid, sustainable foundations then we have to be imaginative in our recruitment in my opinion, we can't be seeking to compete with parachute payment clubs for top end established Championship players (including Morris!
). It's what I've wanted since we dropped from the Prem and it's what we've done (in the main) since KLD came in - I love it and wouldn't want to diverge now.
He has 11 goals for Stoke which is more than Wilson, he's 2 years younger than Wilson, he's played more english football than Wilson. I would value Wilson at 8m+ so I think 7m for Cannon is very fair. Also to have Cannon and Isidor competing would give us some serious depth upfront. it's clear RLB rates him too as he specifically mentioned how Cannon is a good player.
