Massive result tonight, thought Adil, Jobe and Neil were top class at times. Isidor is special at this level, really hope we make it permanent.

RLB was right to stick with Mayenda and got the formation spot on. Their defence struggled every time him and Isidor were attacking and should have really been a more comfortable win to be honest.

It works against teams that come at us and we can counter. It Won’t work against teams that sit deep. It’s a neat trick to have and to change the shape during games but all teams have to do is sit deep and it won’t be as effective.

RLB said as much in his presser after the game that it won’t be our main base tactic

There's not much that works against teams that sit deep, we certainly haven't cracked it. With the two forwards close together there's more chance of a breakthrough than when we stick Isidor up top and hope for the best.

I think Isidor has done quite a good job as our striker tbf but I did enjoy the two up top tonight.

When we do go back to the 433 though I’d like Mayenda as an impact sub striker and even rotate with Isidor from game to game

Clearly a lot of talent there with Isidor, shown by the calibre of the goals he’s scored this season. As someone mentioned above about 5 of them have been worldies and you could probably include tonight’s, that touch to take it away from Ahmehodzic was top class. Needs to start putting away the easier opportunities though for me has some work to do inside the box

I'd say he's been feeding off scraps for the most part and most of what he's achieved has been through individual brilliance. I don't think he's especially suited to being a lone target man, pair him with Mayenda and we create chances.

Ok not every team is as open at the back as SU were but I don't see how removing Mayenda as a partner for Isidor makes us better at cracking open deep lying defences.

I also don't agree with dropping Mayenda and bringing him on as an impact sub, surely tonight showed why he should be playing. He was MotM.

I'd add a 10 for RLB
Thought the way he set up tonight was perfect given the players available.
Mayenda and Isidor absolutely terrorised them.
Defence solid to a man. Dark arts in abundance they're punching way above their age.
Dan was superb in midfield
Also Well done Bellingham sat in an outnumbered 2 in the middle but put in a very disciplined shift in far from his favoured position

Tonight RLB showed he's not a one trick pony
If we can add a couple in Jan and get players back from injury think we are in for a very interesting ride.

I'd agree.

Wilder’s tactics were basic and his multiple subs totally ineffective …

… RLB’s tactics were precise and his subs just what was needed.
