How are the ones that wanted us to break the bank for Moore feeling right now? He was absolutely dreadful tonight I thought

True that, the only two things he achieved were being invisible and missing a penalty. I'd definitely rather have Wilson on the books.

    Not long back.
Superb team performance, a special mention to Mayenda and Neil who were superb.
I thought the atmosphere was much better than it has been for recent home games.
On to the weekend and hopefully another three points against Pompey.
    Happy New Year all.

Thought Mayendas first touch to bring the ball down for his goal was sublime. To then be cool
as **** knocking it in showed real resilience considering the misses he’s had in the past few games.

hopefully we can kick on now. Not much to be afraid of in the rest of the league.

Sort of result with a load of injuries a promotion winning team would grind out, if I dare to say it.

Back it up on Sunday (hopefully) and good players returning from injury a couple of weeks later we could be in a strong position going into final third of the season.

Patterson, Neil and Mayenda outstanding imo.

Haven’t looked back through the thread but was Wilder bitter in his post match interview with Sky? He’s usually unbearable <laugh>

Was fair but also kept saying we defended for our lives essentially saying we just sat in.

moaned in his Sheffield United one about a second penalty

Precisely mate, we allowed them possession, defended and countered …

… he’s trying to make it sound like a giant killing.

    Very good <applause>

Just been looking at our remaining fixtures and I think we can go unbeaten at home. We’ve faced all the better sides at the SoL.

Thing is it doesn’t matter how much of the ball we have as a team, although lots of possession is nice to see. What matters is what we do with the ball when we do have it. And our players put it in the back of the net three times last night and theirs didn’t.

We did more with our possession!

I'd hazard a guess we had more touches in their box and a higher xg or whatever it's called!

Still hate to watch a team have all the possession but reality is they didn't really get much of a sniff!

I said a while back that our last third run-in is as good as you could wish for …

… away tickets will be like gold dust if we stay in contention.
