Played 60 minutes after doing it....

Yet another question to be asked of our medical staff.

I'd also love to ask about the sheer number of players who return from injury only to suffer an immediate setback.

Or in plain English, what the hell are our physios actually doing?!

I've posted this many times , the Odobert breakdown was the most recent, something is wrong in our physio dept

in your humble opinion

Navas is finished as a top keeper, wasn't much good at Forest last season.

Karius has never been any good.

But sadly the bar is very low. Not upgrading Forster in the summer - theoretically one of the easier pieces of business to do - was a huge error.

The issue with our backup keeper is a lot more complicated than people first realise

The first issue is our dismal CG numbers which effectively necessitate keeping Austin and Whiteman around, even though Austin hasn't played a second of first team football anywhere since July 2021, while Whiteman is better known as a DJ these days as he hasn't played any first team football since December 2022

The second is, like the No2 or No3 keepers at several other PL clubs, Forster is basically here to meet the HG numbers the squad is supposed to have, which has been an issue for us for 5-6 years easily at this point

There's also how various sources say that Forster is a big voice in the dressing room and on the training pitch, so there is certainly value in keeping him at the club - but the reality is that, while he can do a job for the odd game here and there, realistically his best use at the moment is to work with the likes of Luca Gunter in training, and we do need another first team-standard keeper in place
Last time I looked we had several keepers on our books. Are none of them good enough to fill in for 6 weeks (hopefully). If not, why do we keep them. Austin for example is not a youngster any more. Whiteman a year older. Maybe time to see what they can do.
Forster - helping with the HG numbers, useful behind the scenes
Austin - CG numbers
Whiteman - CG numbers

Thanks Poch!

Seasoooon 7 episooooode 5 is heeeeeeere, baby! That's it, Ladies and Gents, DH is yet again on his travels with another trip to our best buds over at Blue Moon, after such a lovely visit a few weeks back, it felt rude not to return!

PRE-MATCH:

Haha, good ****ing luck the way we're playing.
Good luck indeed.

What could possibly go wrong?
You tell me...

Son two shots two goals? *someone replied with* We're so bad at the back he'll probably not play and score 2.
I wouldn't actually put it past Son being able to do that...

Yeah, these are ****e and low on confidence as well.
El-****tico.

I honestly think Spurs are an easier prospect than either Bournemouth or Brighton.
Sometimes we are tbf.

Please dont play Walker
Please dont play Walker
Please dont play Walker
You had a premonition of what Werner was gonna do, didn't you?

These Spursy ****s are getting it this weekend
I often say similar to myself when I see a fit girl in a bar but then I still go home single at the end of the night.

Need a win, obviously, and an emphatic one at that
Same.

Are brollies allowed in the stadium?
Bloody woke fans. Get drenched and be miserable in true English fashion for god sake!

Everyone hurting from the last 4 defeats and it's going to be a masterclass.
Oh it's gonna be a masterclass alright.

Got a feeling Savinho will score
Yeah and I'm going on a date with Sydney Sweeney.

Come on City win this for Rodri
He's not dead for **** sake!

FIRST HALF:

Is that the fastest yellow in history?
Gotta be up there.

*Maddison 1-0*
Ffffffssssssss
Oh Jesus. Not again.
Quelle surprise
That pass was outstanding unfortunately.
What did I just say that bloody Kilveski.
****ing hell that's almost as bad as Redknapp's pronunciation!

A very large % of goals we concede come from our left side. Buy a feckin decent left back.
Fine, fine, fine, Reguilon for £40m and he's yours.

We will win this 4-2
That's the spirit.

*Maddison 2-0*
Game over
That was too easy. Just too easy
We cannot let Son have so much room ffs
He is inevitableeeeee.

Ffs why do spurs always **** us over
'Cos it's funny.

We won't be winning the league this season
Oh boohoo.

Got to take off Gundog and Gvardiol, and maybe Walker before it gets to 3
Nahhh they're alright.

Is Savinho still on the pitch?
Told you earlier on this thread, he's Mahrez but without a brain.

Spurs look like they have twice as many players on the pitch.
You calling us fat?

We haven't got Riyad to pull us out of the **** this time like Feb23
You do have his brainless clone though.

We need someone like Gyokores. Just another option upfront because as much as I love Haaland he misses too many chances.
And to think people dared calling him better than Harry!

SECOND HALF:

*Porro 3-0*
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING DEFENDING!!!!!
Take em all off
Gotta laugh
I picked the wrong week to quit heroin.
Rehab is for quitters anyway, mate.

What utter prick told me weeks ago Kulusevski is not good enough for us?
He's awful, you definitely, definitely don't want him at City.

Woohooo, I'm off to watch reality TV.
Dark times.

Gundogans legs are gone. I'm not sure Lewis was born with any.
****ing ouch <laugh>

How big of a rebuild will it be next summer?
Probably a £700m one knowing you lot.

Where has Foden been in the 2nd half?
Where's he been all season?

Spurs no defence, 3-0 win at the Etihad
Oh you think we're done?

Remember when we had Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko and Boletelli yet we only have Haaland now absolutely crazy..
I remember when we had Harry Kane :(

Kulusevski has torn us a new arsehole
Just another day at the office for the ginger from Sweden.

*Johnson 4-0*
How has walker been beat that easliy
Walker's all shagged out.
Bloody Turkey teeth scores...
<laugh> It does look like he has Turkey teeth tbf.

Looking forward to Spurs getting beaten at home next week against Fulham.
Standard.

POST-MATCH:

They played our game better than we could
Real talk.

**** off Ricky Villa
**** YOU!

There were moments today that I missed the days of Javi Garcia and Jack Rodwell.
That's like our Winks and Sissoko days.

We’ve looked like a mid table side for weeks now.
Ohh life must be so tough for you.

Crazy part is we started really well first ten mins.
We wanted to build your hope only to see it drained.

Sack the board, Pep out.
Terrible manager, isn't he?

That ****house Maddison with his dart throwing, car driving and love heart celebrations.Horrible liccle ****
Few things make me smile more than knowing opposition fans get riled up by our players. Well in, Maddison.

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist but I'm beginning to wonder if this is all planned by the club to get us primed for how **** the football will be in the North West Counties League.
Oh this would be superb.

What pisses me off with Spuds is they're all spursy before and sometimes after we play them.....they always play like Real Madrid against us.
I suppose that in itself is also Spursy.

It was like Ange was our manager and Pep was theirs.
