I've been really supportive of the model, and tbh I still am but think most would agree there needs to be some flex. Obviously this is just speculation/hearsay so not criticising the club, but Id find it ridiculous if we dont let the new man (whether its Still or not) bring in some of their team. Our strategy restricts the head coach as it is in terms of signings etc, which I think can work for us, but the head coach should be allowed their team to support them to get the best out the group they are given.
I mean imagine Still turned us down because we wouldnt allow him to bring staff in and he would have had to keep Dodds who he probably doesnt know. That would be crackers and couldnt see us being successful with a strategy like that (dont think the club would do this for what its worth).
Hoping for an announcement this weekend, cant see many reasons keeping us from appointing now, the sooner we get the new man to work the better.
