Watched him as a 16 yr old and honestly thought he was going to be a superstar. Looked unreal and teh type that gets fans off their seats. I think this is a cracking low risk high reward signing.

I’ve tried not to comment too much until I see what we’re left with when the window slams shut. Wasn’t impressed with our summer business and definitely not happy about January but there’s still time… Here’s hoping we pull at least two decent signings off. I’d love some experience but that doesn’t look likely at this stage.
 
What happened with Aravena? The Chilean lad we’ve been linked with for over a year. His contract was due to expire in December. It’s weird that link just disappeared, doesn’t look like he’s moved on either.

According to Transfermarkt, his contract isn't up until December 31st 2024?

He might have signed an extension

That's a shame, especially when they ignore the improvements. The club is far from perfect but, if the progress of the last two years continues, we'll be doing OK imo.

Already mate , I took from what he said we are looking for another midfielder who brings a different balance to the team, we already have one but he's injured ( Evans).
Yet one poster looks at that and states we are waiting till Evans is fit.
KS has basically said we have to look at bringing a CDM in because Evans is injured, that is what nearly everyone has been crying out for, yet mister doom and gloom is twisting it to put a negative side to what I think was a positive statement.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion but twisting the facts to fit with your agenda is very sad to say the least

There is clear succession being built into the squad it's impressive to see... Well I can see it perhaps some of the more 'challenged' cant/won't/don't want to see it
