Thought of highly at Spurs, fans also wanted him to get a chance. Refused a new contract. Jack Clarke a potential influence with a few phone calls you'd think. https://www.football.london/tottenh...e-mundle-tottenham-contract-rejected-27694740
Apparently he turned down a FIVE year contract from Spurs in the summer, as he wanted to go and get first team football. FIVE years Spurs were willing to tie him down until he was 25. That says a lot about how highly they rated him
Watched him as a 16 yr old and honestly thought he was going to be a superstar. Looked unreal and teh type that gets fans off their seats. I think this is a cracking low risk high reward signing.
Speakman is the transfer window equivalent of Buble at Christmas, silence then last week he appears from nowhere, deals coming left, right and Jon mensah
I’ve tried not to comment too much until I see what we’re left with when the window slams shut. Wasn’t impressed with our summer business and definitely not happy about January but there’s still time… Here’s hoping we pull at least two decent signings off. I’d love some experience but that doesn’t look likely at this stage.
What happened with Aravena? The Chilean lad we’ve been linked with for over a year. His contract was due to expire in December. It’s weird that link just disappeared, doesn’t look like he’s moved on either.
According to Transfermarkt, his contract isn't up until December 31st 2024? He might have signed an extension
Already mate , I took from what he said we are looking for another midfielder who brings a different balance to the team, we already have one but he's injured ( Evans). Yet one poster looks at that and states we are waiting till Evans is fit. KS has basically said we have to look at bringing a CDM in because Evans is injured, that is what nearly everyone has been crying out for, yet mister doom and gloom is twisting it to put a negative side to what I think was a positive statement. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but twisting the facts to fit with your agenda is very sad to say the least
Looks like the 2 perms are sorted, wonder if the loans mentioned are the experience we need? A Moore and and experienced cdm now could transform this side
It tells you something that they wanted to give him a long term contract. Says alot about him that he wanted first team football so up sticks to Belgium.
There is clear succession being built into the squad it's impressive to see... Well I can see it perhaps some of the more 'challenged' cant/won't/don't want to see it
Whats also interesting about mundle is he's been linked with Swansea, Stoke and Plymouth all window. But we were never mentioned. Speaks volumes about how we do business quietly
