It’s noticeable that he stayed on to try to cash in on premier league as we expected. Was clearly a long game plan from KLD to ground him down until he couldn’t afford to keep his stake and it’s obviously worked.

Nail on the head mate....clung on as long as he could to see if we could get to the PL....once we lost to Luton he will have known the game was up & he could no longer match the required running investment......& We move on.....massive progress has been made in little over a year.....now were shot of the last hanger on ithink were going to see rapid progress....might not necessarily mean immediate on the field....but massive progress in the background as we look more & more like a very well oiled professional outfit......last summer was the first ina long long time i wasnt dying for no football for a couple of months.....im absolutely desperate for the fixture release, player additions & to get back into a ground watching the lads again......WHAT a fooking change these guys yave made

Picking the Mrs up from dialysis at 11.15, then a hard day's graft landscaping the garden. Tomorrow, for the first time in ages, I don't need to be up early.
So tonight.....assorted Sunderland videos on youtube, bit of music, a few cans of Guinnes and a few single malts.
Today is a good day, tomorrow....not so sure.
