If Che is serious about staying, then we have to keep him. It's as simple as that. He is one of our best players, and keeping him will likely encourage some of the others to stay. Not only that but he is a 25+ a season goal scorer in the Championship. That could be the difference between getting promoted or not.

Most importantly, if the club is going to ever get its 'soul' back, then we need to stop always making decisions based on money before all else. If a player like Che wants to stay despite getting relegated, he could become a real hero among the fans. And we really need a f*cking hero right now.

Easy to see why we are where we are when you look at some of the players who have had consistent playing time this season and are either not good enough or can’t be bothered. Had to put JWP in as he has played so often.

I almost had a coronary then as I looked straight at the line up and just assumed this was the line up you were touting for next year!

Same. I was almost sick in my mouth at the thought of turning up and seeing that team on the field for the first game of next season.

I fear we are going to keep players we really should be saying goodbye too.

I might have forgotten some contract situations, but KWP, Salisu & Orsic are the only players I 100% think will be gone.

Everyone else whether that’s with some miracle working negotiating (Lavia), misguided loyalty (Adams), Stupidity (Ely), Dressing room vibes (Theo) or being overpriced (JWP).

this is going to be a very interesting summer
