I've just realised I was present at all the recent matches where we could've 'done a Sunderland' as some love to say.

Morecambe - they need to win, just beat Oxford, scoring goals

Sheff Wed H - form team, just beat MK Dons, scoring goals

Sheff Wed A - needed that second goal, they're good at home, it'll be tough

Wycombe - incredible defence, bound to score, Akinfenwa fairy tale

During those games we did a professional job, conceded one goal and scored in every one ...

... so I'm inclined to believe Neil when he says things can change and we need to put the past behind us.

Leicester were bankrupt, lower league and going nowhere then things changed and they won the league.

There was nothing to suggest their fortunes would change but they did, and can for us.

I know their takeover was unique but Man City and Sunderland for years were similar clubs in terms of size and league status. I used to live in Moss Side / Rusholme and know loads of city fans and they always say ‘we were like you then it all changed’. Surely we’re due our turn.

There are some of us on here who have never been 'over the road'. Or maybe just me. Hard enough keeping up on one message board, let alone two. I am a social media muppet generally, this is I think is my only foray into it, and it is enough. To all those who post info and links to twitter stuff - thanks.

News today all good.

My understanding is the deal is done for CM and SD to leave SAFC. Mixed messages regarding who's buying however most important is the chancers have agreed a deal to leave.

Hearing serious players and want to make a mark in the football world.

Very difficult to name names as sources reluctant to give exact details. Hopefully won't drag on.
