Lets be honest he isnt what we need for the promotion push. Lets also be honest if the view inside the game was he could still do it, he would have been on the pitch for someone at the weekend. A quick call ti Gerard to ask if he can still cut it at the pointy end is all it would take. This is a 6 month gig and every game that passes is one less to have an impact. If he really wanted a playing deal he would have had it last week, somewhere.

I would like the best of both worlds sign JD + 1 like Broadhead and sell/ release O’Brien and Kimpioka if money is a problem which I don’t think it should be , we need to have a right blast at getting promoted this season - we are close enough to make it happen we should be doing everything possible to make it .

I didn’t know that. There’s every chance it could be incorrect info about Defoe. Hope so anyway. There’s good itk lads on here. @Prehab is usually spot on with info over the years but with anyone itk things do change sometimes.
