I can't see us signing Stockton at all. I'd give it zero chance of happening.

It would be a huge fee given that his club really need to keep him to prevent relegation. We dont seem keen on paying fees these days unless tiny. Given that it would be a big fee we'd have to give him a long contract to protect the fee. But there's no logic to that as he's not that young, had one good season, and theres nothing to suggest he could go the journey to the championship.

Not going to happen.

Whilst I love reading all the speculation conjecture and rumour amongst us fans it seems that a few people will say don't believe what you read in the papers and then immediately believe what they read in the papers. Then others take what they have heard off other people who have read them articles and add a bit more of their opinion. It does make me smile and then again can be a bit frustrating however it also keeps me interested in the club I love. I am sure most of you know the posters on here who tend to be closer to the truth more often than not so they are the ones who I put more trust in.

Didn't someone on here mention the ownership aka stake control of shares be cleared up more by mid to end Jan? Any news on this?
