Was it an insult? I wouldn't have said so.

Here's the thing, I didn't really enjoy that win because we were so poor and didn't deserve the three points. It seems I'm in a minority of one, but I felt some empathy towards the Bristol team and their supporters because I know (as do we all) what it feels like to lose like that.

If you don't get that, what I said was a statement of fact, not an insult.
Your comment was OTT and you don't make it any better by implying that you are somehow a superior human being by suggesting you are the only person on this board who feels empathy. A simple apology and withdrawal of your original comment, petty not factual, would have been so much better.

Thanks for your input, but I stand by what I said. I didn't imply that I was alone in feeling empathy per se, just as relating to tonight's game.

Quite handy for us to win this, so the lads are in a good mood when I go to St Andrew’s (twinned with Aleppo) on Sunday.

Come on you Rs!
Will that do? All set up on a plate for your big day out. Play as badly as they did and win with a penalty in first half stoppage time and then a winner in the dying embers of the match. What can possibly go wrong for you on Sunday

There was that anxious moment of when it would come, and when it did, it was absolutely joyless. An R'sss win away, a rare thing.

Joyless? You should've been in the away end, plenty of joy in there!

Away wins not that rare pal - 5th time this season. We'd won two of the previous three as well....aint no-one gonna take the shine off this one though, we were pretty dogshit in the first half and managed to turn it around

I'm going to bed happy, love it.

I'm so glad you had a great night SM. You've earned that.

I have woken up happy.

Even if we were pretty ****, it was wonderful win, with such a decimated squad. Real team spirit.

Wasn't Barbet header a lot like Solanke winner on Monday. Still think that sort of header is near undefendable ( unless you block the ball getting to the player ...obv)

Like Stan I'm off to Brum on Sunday, that should ensure another bad performance without the happy outcome.

You RRRRs
