Match preview;
Bristol City currently sit 18th, have won 2, lost 2 and drawn 1 of their last five. They have just announced losses of £38.4 million for the last financial year, casting the blame mainly on having no crowds at games. Their top scorer is Andreas Weimann, on 9 goals, followed by Christ Martin on 5 goals. It seems that ex-Ranger, Nahki Wells, is often a sub, and has made 14 appearances since our last meeting in September, but only scored 1 goal in that time. Last time out they lost 2-3 to Huddersfield Town, but their squad remains COVID free and they haven't played since December 18th, due to their game on Boxing Day, vs Luton, being postponed due to COVID in the Luton squad.
As for us, Dozzell will be banned for this after his late red card vs Stroud on Monday 27th, so he'll be missing. After that loss, we've lost two in a row, which is disappointing after not losing a game in November, but more and more players are out, and with the fixtures coming thick and fast, they seem to need a break. If results go our way this week, we could finish the year as high as fifth, or potentially as low as 11th, which shows just how tight it is in the top half.
Team news and manager's comments to go up when on the official, enjoy if you'll make it...but given the way things are heading, keep an eye on the news to make sure things are still going head and as always...
...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
