Having watched the highlights, that must be the most pro-QPR ref I can remember.
They should have had a penalty.
There was a clear hand ball in the lead up to the corner that produced Barbet's magnificent header.
The ref gave us virtually everything.

    What a wonderful change.
How many times, just this season have we been ****ed over by the officials?

That twat Pearson will be in huge trouble for his post match comments, saying that the ref was "lower league" and belonged "on the parks".

I thought the ref was magnificent!!

    What a lovely feeling.

No point in having empathy, football is tribal. They showed none winning at our place. I'll take another empathy-free win at St Andrews all day long...

Seems I really am in a minority of one in feeling a bit sorry for the opposition last night. Pearson's a dick, but their players and fans deserved to get something out of that game.

Perhaps I'm not cut out for this football fandom thing any more.

Tell you what, that was some header by Barbet, beyond the 6 yard box, brilliant technique.......

Overall I know it was a pretty awful display, but given the circumstances with health issues and injuries it was a ballsy result...... It's not always possible to play free flowing glorious one touch pass and move football, sometimes you have to hang in there and hope for a bit of luck and that's what we did last night......

    Happy Friday lads and lasses........

I had the weirdest dream last night…
I dream that I watched QPR on TV and we didn’t lose.
I dreamt that we played pretty cr#p and could have been 3-0 down within 30 mins but some how only conceded 1.
I dreamt that we didn’t concede just before half time and Charlie scored a Penalty late on and mocked their fans.
I dreamt that we scored an injury time goal to win the game and what made the dream was that for once the refs decisions weren’t all against us.
    I love those dreams.

Well, I’m glad I chose to walk the dog during the second half rather than follow the unrelenting misery on here……

+1. They probably deserved to win, but football games get won on goals not on deserves, as our home game this season against them. And I have more empathy for a bloke here who has just died from his booster jab.

    Don't fret Strolls
I get empathy... I do feel it too.... yeah it was bad for them, but I felt empathy for us when Wells scored for them against us earlier in the season. What goes around comes around.

I feel real empathy for teams who really play and fight but still lose( except Chelsea obv) ...when not playing QPR.

I have huge empathy...but QPR love overtakes it.

I understand your empathy with City last night...but in the end ..you supabrilliant HOOPSA

I'm hard placed to feel empathy on one result, Strolls, but I would do if they went down, because they can play decent football. They shot themselves in the foot last night with clumsy play for the penalty and the second yellow. But the fact is, even though we were crap by our relatively high Championship standards, we put them under a lot of pressure and they cracked.

I thought we played a lot of that game like many of ours were still getting over Covid, so many of ours under par. Perhaps Chair is a bigger positive influence than I often think. But we got into it with the pen and without much reason from what was happening on the pitch I had a feeling we were going to win once we were level. Them going down to 10 men seemed to help them more than us, but we finally showed some threat as the game drew to an end and Barbet's great header woke up few in Thailand too at 4.45 am!

They were the better side, even after going down to ten. The ref was poor and gave us everything. It's a tough way to lose, that's all.

True, and it's happened to us many times. It is tough, but it's swings and roundabouts in a long season.
