Still smiling from yesterday's news, smiled even more with today's news of Rodwell going and to top it all off just been offered a new job with a £10k a year pay rise.

Beers may well need to be consumed again tonight <party>
nice

I'll give Bob credit he gives it back and sticks it out.
Banter is all well and good but if some aren't happy with his posts just don't read them ffs.

The problem is you might want to pass on info, but that could put your source in trouble. If I ever get any 'inkling' I have to be careful what I say.

Vincent Labrune for CEO? Ex Marseille president and currently top man in French football league so maybe wouldn’t take a step down but has been a massive part of KLD’s life ( before and after his dad died ) a real confidante and father figure to him. He’ll be his go to guy for advice on running a football club.

I have to say I've been right in the doldrums lately,
What with covid, losing shifts, to name a few, I've even asked for a move in work to get away from the boring mood hoover I have to suffer :D
Now football banter had dried up since we dropped through the divisions. It was like we were a non entity and the hoardes of LFC, MUFC, Everton etc fans around me maybe felt sorry for me.
Leaving me wallowing in self pity.

Well last night said mood hoover mocked us, "we might of been taken over but what league are we in" ?

Well bouyed by my good mood which coincides with said take over, I ripped the plastic scouser (Widnes Wánker) a new arse hole and tore into him with gusto :D

My point is, i feel like we are no longer a non entity and people are starting to take notice of us again.
It feels great, lets get back in that fookin premier League .
HA'WAY THE LADS.

The lockdown has left us all in the doldrums marra. I don't know anyone who's escaped it. I'm hoping Boris gives us a time frame on Monday,so at least we can plan for an exit. This forum has kept many of us going through these dark winter months, but, the nights are getting lighter, the days are getting longer and warmer, and you know that you are one of many to whom Sunderland Football Club is an integral part of life. We are strong, resilient and we will rise again to the very top, then we can put all the plastics in their proper place. You are not alone. We are Sunderland!

Afternoon chaps. Haven't posted for a couple of weeks. What a bloody time for me to pick to go AWOL
Bit late to the party I know but been absolutely buzzin all week. Not just with the takeover announcement but with the speed and intent
of this young lad. Adverts in the press, Rodwell gone (he's a wrong un), academy lad already in place.
This may take a while but at last we have a club with a progressive plan and an end to the short termism of the likes of Graham and Grigg
Oh and a belated nod to @Smug in Boots @Prehab26 @Magnus @Wheatsheaf cheers lads cracks been great you've kept me sane this last year
KTF Onwards and upwards.

I don't mind Burton and hope they stay up, it's a good away day. They've had some decent results but some shockers as well, they're not bottom by accident.

I'd hate to be the defender who has to mark McGeady, credit to Johnson as he's persuaded him to cut our the needless pirouettes and get the ball delivered. With Jones, on the other side, we should be able to give any team a chasing.

My only concerns are the full backs being pulled out of position and Leadbitter not tracking runners from midfield ... the Lincoln player, who fired in the shot Burge parried, was in open space for ages.

I can't see Leadbitter starting tomorrow so I'm hoping Scowen, O'Nien and Winchester are all available. I still see a place for O'Brien, even if it's only the bench, I think people will grow to like him

I'm going for 3-1 although I don't think we'll be able to relax, Burton seem to be scoring late on.

Haway the Lads, don't aim a massive kick in our balls.

I think onein being in midfield may be decided by our injuries at centre half . hope he does play in midfield though.
