All done and dusted.
Its a dry beef curry. The flavours were superb but it was dry.
Could easily get the same flavours with a bit of sauce.
I did like how the beef was browning at the end in the oils added at the front end of the dish.

That looks spot on. Wouldn’t be out of place on a Jakarta street stall. The best Rendangs are dry like that.

Thought most had seen the boiled sausage argument.
So many years ago in Austria I did the wtf thing seeing them boil the sausages. It seals in moisture and means you haven't got to cook the hell out of them to make sure they are done. Simmer for 10 minutes then fry to get colour and more flavour for 10 minutes.
