Latest 'recovery' figures show just how ****ing inept the Government's response has been ... Germany has had 127k infected and has an over 50% recovery rate ... we have 85k infected but our recovery rate is 0.3% ... wow

France (134k 21%), Italy (156k 22%) and Spain (167k 37%) ... all way better than ours too <doh>
Am I reading this right?
So if 1000 contract coronavirus, only 3 will recover?
Sounds a bit off to me that mate.

We’ll never the true recovery rate because we’ll never know how many people have been infected. These recovery rates could just be for patients in ICU? Not that would make the UK’s 0.3% any more believable.

Inevitably that orange moron is now turning on Fauci. He also spent yesterday evening tweeting about what a brilliant job he was doing and how he reacted to the virus quicker than anyone. The guy who called it a hoax.

We will have a very good idea how many have been infected. Antibody tests across a sample of the population will give the answer.

It's already been done in a town in Lombardy where 70% were found to have had the virus and a region of Germany where 15% have had it.

Ignoring the nonsense recovery rate figures, we know how deadly this is so everyone else infected must've recovered or shown no symptoms.

Figures at the moment put death rate at 0.3-.06% for countries catching infection early and preventing spread to vulnerable groups. 2-4% for countries whose healthcare systems are overwhelmed.

That makes it all very stark.

I spoke to a GP friend at the start of all of this who was drawing up protocols for who gets oxygen and who doesn't. Hideous decision making. Whilst most of us only have to make the decision to go up the shop or bake some bread at home instead.

I'd go up the shop if I were you mate <whistle>

I’m curious what the source of that photo is as it has the NHS logo rather than a trust logo but as far as I’m aware the NHS has decided not to release national guidance but instead to ask for local decisions to be made in relation to who gets treatment and what type.
