Three things a manager needs
1.man management skills,
2 motivational skills
3 tactical nous
sadly Jack Ross is lacking in all three. time to go

If it’s close then surely SD must be talking to them and they must have a view
Understandable Janey, but we can't keep waiting for the takeover to complete before getting rid. What if it trundles on for another 2 or 3 games and we find ourselves further out of touch?

Maybe he can speak with them and agree that they assist with the severance package upon completion but either way SAFC needs to act fast IMO.

Aye he’s a pure **** but he did have a fanny fight with Dyer on the pitch shaming the neighbours, and he’s doing miracles.

Whether he’d leave ‘his club’ for us, even with the **** he’s dealing with is debatable anyway.

I'm thinking that if we're talking about changing manager it's got to be under the assumption that it'll be after the takeover and the lure would be massive for an ambitious manager or even just one that likes money.

If it doesn't happen though then I dread to think what kind of manager we'd be looking at to replace Ross, it'd be a big risk.

Sorry that’s what I meant, I wasn’t very clear. I meant if it’s close SD must be communicating with them and they must be discussing what should happen now

Seems like a composed sensible manager- dont compare to when he was a player in the heat of battle- he is a good choice but why would he want to come here?

Think that’s what I meant. Us fans don’t deserve it. Wasn’t meant to have a dig. But I certainly wouldn’t sign for him.
He’s out of his depth and toast. It has been that way for me since May, but just kept hoping I was wrong and that we would do what Ipswich are doing, but it’s not to be and as I said it’s sadly pitiful s#*t ATM.
This our Club that has supporters with huge passion pumping though their veins, all with a desperate wish in wanting fast and attacking football on the pitch.....let down yet again.
Lincoln only rejoined the football league in 2017, fair play to them today....it Fekin hurts though

Frustration at his current club, the potential if he got it right here?

We can’t let it rumble on though mate, Ipswich already too far away, in reality there’s one automatic slot we can aim for and the playoffs.

We had that long debate the other week and nothings changed, indeed him team talking us from a superb first half performance to a nervous, ****ting dog second half last week is the biggest alarm bell yet.

This result today is nowt short of shambolic. He hasn’t the bollocks, or the ability, to turn it.

Results have remained solid simply due to the league being ****e. A well managed Ipswich with a comparable squad are marching on.

Absolute ****e that mate.

You seriously trying to kid yourself that any player sees us as the same calibre of club as Rochdale or Southend?

No chance, it’s absolutely right that we, Ipswich and Portsmouth are mountains above the rest, yet this hapless twat of a manager makes it look like we are facing CL opponents every week.

We are in no way ‘just another League One club’.

Biggest club, biggest crowds, biggest history, biggest stadium, Premier League academy and facilities.

Performances more than results have been a disgrace and when we start losing to also rans of the 3rd tier there’s no excuses to be made.
Not those but more the Portsmouth or Peterborough. Teams which gave ambitious managers and seem to be going somewhere. We’re treading water with a toxic atmosphere at home and away games now.

Agree with you on all those points marra. Not sure how much say he's had in recruitment but we've certainly reduced the value of the squad over the Summer. Unless we're paying big wages I can't see how we're viewed as big spenders.

Think his position is getting untenable now because of the feeling against him - a bit like when Grayson went. We all know what happened then - no improvement in spite of everyone saying anyone could do better

Just to add in that if our keeper and striker had done their jobs even adequately we wouldn't be losing

Aye if only instead of Grigg we'd used that money on a striker who actually replaced Maja in goals scored, we'd have been promoted last season and things would be totally different. That was the big gamble, using so much of the transfer budget on one player, and we gambled and lost big time.
